Phonics

The knowledge of letters and sounds forms the basis of reading. Students need to be able to manipulate sounds, understand that letters represent those sounds, correctly associate the correct spelling of each sound, and develop sight recognition of familiar words. Likewise, written foundational skills include correct letter formation, spelling, handwriting, punctuation, and spacing. Without these skills, students will struggle with comprehension and composition skills.

If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
